34 Victoria Avenue is a cosy mid terrace Victorian house. The property is located in the town of Llanidloes in Powys which is ideal for exploring the pretty historic town with its interesting buildings and an array of shops. It is the first town on the River Severn.
The cottage provides an excellent base with easy reach to numerous places such as the Clywedog Dam with its beautiful scenery; the start of the Glyndwr Way (an ancient walking trail); the Plynlimon mountain range and the Hafren Forest with its walks and trails.
There are opportunities for fishing at the Clywedog Dam to catch rainbow trout and the River Severn and its surrounding area to catch brown trout (fishing permits are available at local newsagents). There are also many attractive surrounding villages and the golf course is approximately 1 mile away. The area with its rolling hills is popular with cyclists.
The town has plenty of places within walking distance to eat out, such as a bistro, a Tandoori Restaurant, Chinese takeaway and fish and chip shops as well as a selection of local pubs which do bar meals.
