“This is a lovely little cottage and ideal for us as we enjoy getting outdoors as much as we are able. Lots of lovely walks nearby and easy to drive to places of interest. Although many of the shops were closed due to lockdown we were in walking distance to the local Co-op so able to buy what we needed. This is a great place to use as a base for all the great walks around the area and had everything that we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Have never been to Llanidloes before and would definitely return.”

“A comfortable cosy cottage, beds were comfy. It had everything you need and the owner contacted me several times before we went, ensuring we knew where everything was.”

“Just the job! The cottage was a perfect size for a family of 3 and a dog. It had everything we needed. Lovely town and the cottage is ideally positioned, in walking distance, to access shops, eating places and pubs. For a dog owner, the park across the road was ideal. Would definitely go back and have already recommended it to our family and friends”

“A warm and cosy cottage perfect for a relaxing break and ideally located to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. Plenty of choice to eat out locally or relax and eat in with a takeaway or cook.
Dorothy was excellent and on hand if needed.
I'm looking forward to visiting again.”

“As a holiday home no 34 is quite perfect. The property owners have made it really pleasant; the decor is bright and fresh, the settees really comfortable, the telly has even more channels than our own at home, and the mattress on the front bedroom double bed is so luxuriously comfortable that I slept better than I normally do in my own bed at home!

This is an ideal holiday home for anyone who prefers a town location; particularly good for a winter holiday when the risk of bad weather might lead you to prefer town to country. On one side a walk of mere seconds takes you past a small field with sheep and the fields of a local horse breeder. But walk in the other direction, and in less than five minutes you're on the main street, with shops, pubs, eateries and the usual amenities.

Llanidloes is a pleasant town in a beautiful area and even the weather turned out better than, judging from the forecast, we thought it might. Ideal short break, and reasonably priced local eateries too, with good food. Excellent place to stay; we'd recommend no. 34 to anyone.”
