2 Glanmordy is a three-storey cottage in the popular village of Aberporth, Ceredigion. With views over two sandy beaches, you couldn’t wish for a better location for a family seaside holiday. Walkers can enjoy easy access to the 60-mile-long Ceredigion Coast Path which passes close to the cottage.
This contemporary-style cottage has a light and airy feel and great views from the kitchen, lounge, and bedroom windows, you might even spot some of the resident bottlenose dolphins swimming close to shore. The south-facing front patio is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and catch the evening sun.
2 Glanmordy is just a short walk down the steps to the beach, not even a road to cross! and there is a convenient café on the way where you can grab an ice cream or a snack. Aberporth village has everything you might need for your stay within walking distance, including a pub, cafés, takeaways, village store, post office, and chemist.
Ceredigion Coast Path passes within a few yards of the cottage with miles of stunning coastal scenery, quaint seaside villages, and beautiful beaches to explore. The beach at Tresaith is close by and the National Trust beach at Penbryn and the village and beaches at Llangrannog are further along the coast. The beautiful beach at Mwnt, close to Cardigan is well worth a visit. New Quay is a short drive away and offers dolphins spotting boat trips and paddle boarding. The Georgian town of Aberaeron is a popular destination with its harbour and colourful houses.
The market town of Cardigan is 7 miles away and has supermarkets, cafés, independent shops, and a restored castle. The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve is a great day out and there is plenty to explore further afield in North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.
