The expansive sandy beach, which is a stone’s throw from the cottage, continues around the headland to the beautiful and secluded Scott’s Bay where walkers can stop off and make a wish at St Anthony’s Well. Dominating the headland the Norman Castle offers spectacular views and the opportunity to explore. From the Castle, visitors can amble back down to the village, which is well-served with places to eat.
The Inn at The Sticks has been renovated and has a bar and excellent restaurant. The Castle is a more traditional pub with good bar meals. Within 100 yards from the cottage you will find Florries for fish and chips and The Beach Shop serving snacks and beverages. Two miles away the Mansion House Hotel and Restaurant is well worth a visit. Further afield, the Pembrokeshire National Park and the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, can be reached within an hour. The county town of Carmarthen with its array of independent shops, galleries and indoor market is only 20 minutes away.

11 Innisfree Cottages is one of 14 cottages set around a heated swimming pool (open from the Spring Bank Holiday until the first week in September) and lawned gardens.
The swimming pool is not supervised. Please ensure the safety of your children at all times. Immediately behind the cottage, there are playing fields, 2 tennis courts and a multi-use games court.
There is parking for one car outside the cottage and free parking for any other car in the car park opposite the complex.
