Eco-friendly features
We believe it is important to live sustainably by reducing water and energy consumption, growing food and eating organic food as much as possible, recycling waste, and our house and holiday house is built to conform with the Code for Sustainable Homes. Among other things this code includes limiting water flow to toilets and taps, insulating to higher standards, making use of more sustainable heating systems, providing recycling bins and energy efficient A rated appliances.

1 Woodlands is installed with a brand new highly efficient air to water heat pump and is insulated to very high standards. Therefore, there is minimal energy input to provide heating to our underfloor heating and hot water to our thermal insulated hot water tank. There is an efficient wood burner installed in the living area and all appliances are A or A+ rated.

We recycle plastic, cardboard and tins and food waste bins are also provided. Eco friendly cleaning products are used for washing linen and cleaning. There are a limited number of bus services from the village which is 1 mile away. We can provide details of the Bwcabus service also available in the area.

DOGS : CWN

We welcome polite dogs and have some rules.

• Please keep dogs on a lead around the chickens
• We have some lovely walks from the front door please do not allow dogs to mess in the garden / hot tub area.
• Please clean paws before entering the house.
• Please note that dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds.
• Dogs must not be left alone in the house. By accepting this booking you agree to these terms. Note: Many beaches do not allow dogs May – September – but there are dog friendly beaches during the summer: Poppit, keep left. Tresaith, keep left. Llangrannog, keep right. No dogs at the National Trust beaches of Penbryn and Mwnt. Cwmtydu is dog friendly year round except the month of September when the baby seals are born. Some Dog Friendly Pubs / Restaurants

HOT TUB

• There is a hot tub available in the garden. Please be aware
• We kindly ask guests to use it only from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
• Please no noise outdoors after 11:00 pm.
• You will be given access only after meeting with us so that we can show you how to use it. We do our utmost to be available to do this but cannot guarantee we will always be around upon your arrival time. If you know what time you might arrive please let us know.
• We ask that you familiarise yourself with the hot tub info and safety sheets and follow the guidelines for your safety.
• We reserve the right to close the hot tub for the duration of your stay if these guidelines are not followed, and the damage deposit will not be returned. By accepting this booking, you agree to these terms.
