Dolheulog is a lovingly modernised cottage in the heart of Aberaeron, Ceredigion. With all modern facilities and stylish interiors, it is a contemporary place to stay but retains the character of an old cottage. The lounge and kitchen are all open plan with an upstairs mezzanine used as a relaxing reading room or cosy up in front of the log burner.In a peaceful location the picnic table is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee to the sound of the steam as it meanders out to sea.

Dolheulog is 500 yards from the river and a 10-minute walk to the heart of Aberaeron following the river’s edge. Aberaeron is a lovely Georgian harbour town, full of character with superb restaurants, delicatessens, cafés, and independent shops. The long pebble beach is part of Ceredigion Coast Path leading north to Ynyslas and south to Cardigan with stunning coastal scenery and the chance to spot the resident bottlenose dolphins close to shore. The area is great for water sports, walking, golf, and birdwatching.

The university town of Aberystwyth with a cliff railway, Victorian esplanade and The National Library of Wales is half an hour away. There are plenty of sandy beaches and seaside villages to visit along the coast or explore the beautiful landscape of the Cambrian Mountains.

1 Dolheulog sleeps 2 in 1 double bedroom. All the accommodation apart from the reading room (located on the mezzanine floor) is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
