Y Beudy is a beautiful 3 bedroom Pembrokeshire holiday cottage. Situated at the edge of the small hilltop village of Mathry, only 5 miles from Fishguard and 10 miles from Britain’s smallest city of St Davids, it has been professionally converted from a cow shed and has magnificent panoramic views of the north Pembrokeshire coastline. Y Beudy is comfortably furnished and well equipped with a safe enclosed garden and decked patio area offering superb views extending from Abercastle across to Abermawr and Aberbach.

A lane behind the cottage leads down to Abermawr (1.5 miles) and there are lots of country lanes winding down to the coast to explore, either on foot or bicycle, as well as the wonderful walking on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Mathry is a beautiful small village situated on top of a hill with a local pub serving fresh tasty food and locally caught fish; a well established woodturners, and beautiful church. Mathry is an excellent location from which to explore the coast and tourist attractions within the surrounding area. There are plenty of sandy beaches, good pubs and restaurants nearby. This is an ideal home for family holidays! If you’re looking for a break in a holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire, ours will not disappoint!

The accommodation
Y Beudy sleeps 6 plus a travel cot in three bedrooms. There is 1 double bedroom (with TV / DVD) and 1 twin room on the first floor. The family bathroom with bath, toilet and wash basin is also on the first floor. The third bedroom is a double with ensuite shower room with toilet and wash basin and is on the ground floor. There are wardrobes in each bedroom.

The fully fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and breakfast table and chairs seating 4. The large comfortable lounge has wonderful sea views, 3 piece suite and additional occasional chair, TV, video and DVD player. The dining room has sea views, dining table and chairs seating 6, 2 arm chairs and a music centre. Also on the ground floor is the utility room with washing machine and shelves for shoes and racks to dry clothes and the cloakroom with toilet and washbasin.

Outside
The enclosed rear garden has a large lawn and decked patio area and table and chairs seating 6 with wonderful views. There is off-road parking for two cars.

A maximum of 2 pets are welcome @ £10 per pet per week.
Smoking is not permitted in Y Beudy.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. If you bringing any pets with you please add £10 each per week. Please pay the deposit within 5 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
