Wren Cottage is a unique cottage in a unique location set in 6 acres of beautiful countryside. One of a terrace of four former canal workers' cottages, it is surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife, ideal for exploring or relaxing and taking in the scenery. Outside you can enjoy the gardens with safe play areas for children, chickens to feed and enclosed fields for dogs to be exercised. Also available is a relaxing family size hot tub situated in a chalet in the garden.

Kidwelly town, with its rich industrial heritage and castle, is a few minutes drive away. Pembrey Country Park is only 5 miles distant, with its wide sandy beaches and cycle paths. The towns of Llanelli and Carmarthen are only a short drive with their wide range of shops and restaurants. Sports fans can enjoy Ffos Las race course, Llanelli Scarlets Rugby, Glyn Abbey golf course, and car racing at Pembrey.

The accommodation
The cottage sleeps 4 in a double and a twin bedroom, both on the first floor. A cot/z-bed is additionally available on request.

Downstairs is the beamed living room, plus kitchen and a bathroom. The living room has a 3 seater sofa and an armchair, table and chairs, TV with freeview and DVD and a log burning stove for cosy nights in.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, washbasin and toilet.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and is well equipped for your stay.

Washing and drying facilities are separately available.

Outside
6 acres of child friendly grounds which is secure for dogs. There are lawns at the front and rear of cottage with tables and chairs, BBQ and children’s swings.
A playhouse with toys is available for children to play in.
Fully enclosed family sized hot tub.
Chickens to feed.
Parking for 5 cars and secure lockup for bikes etc.
Separate laundry room.

One log basket provided October to April, then £5 per basket.
