Our newly refurbished, detached, timber holiday lodge is situated in picturesque Cenarth. Only 10 miles from the superb West Wales beaches; a mile from the famous salmon leaps, superb walking, fishing and waterfalls on the River Teifi. Seemingly miles away from fast track urban living! Cenarth has the National Coracle Centre, flour mill, shops + cafes, river walks and 2 pubs.

The lodge is within Penlan Holiday Village - a beautiful wooded area of 24 acres which has a seasonal heated swimming pool, bar and restaurant area, laundry and small shop. The park also has a children’s play area, plenty of space and friendly staff. A children’s cinema, pool / games room are also available. The lodges are randomly and spaciously arranged within the woodland setting amongst the birds and wildlife. We feel that ours is the best lodge on the site!

Cenarth is a superb setting in itself but is also very well situated to tour this excellent part of West Wales. The two well-equipped market towns, Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are 10 and 5 miles away with major stores and independent delicatessens and boutique shopping. The area’s superb beaches, Poppit Sands, Tresaith, Aberporth, Mwnt, Penbryn and Newport are very close by – the first 4 only 10-12 miles away. Tenby and Oakwood theme park are only 40 mins away. Charming coastal villages abound. Local pubs with excellent menus and good beers are within walking distance - only a mile away.

The Shiral Equestrian Centre is 1½ miles away; three golf courses are within 11 miles.

The Ceredigion area recently won Gary Rhodes Food Heroes ‘Best local produce area in the UK’ - so local fare is excellent!

Accommodation
Woodside Lodge sleeps 6 people in 2 double bedrooms (one 2 steps down) and one bunk room. There is a very well-equipped kitchen with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, hand mixer, cafetiere, liquidiser, table-top ironing board and iron. Within the 7m x 4m living/dining area we have Freeview TV, cd/dvd player, i-pod dock, plenty of games, books + CD’s for guests to use and the dining area (2 steps down) seats 6-8.

Outside
Our lodge has a covered deck area which is superb for external dining and a private barbeque area set within the woodland adjacent. The external spaces surrounding the lodges are available for guests to use and there are enormous grassed and wooded areas to be within. 1 adjacent parking space is for use by our guests.

• Electricity is paid by £1 coins to a meter, use of cosy gas ‘pot-belly’ heater within winter months can be arranged
