Woodpecker Barn is one of four converted barns set in the delightful and unspoilt rolling countryside of West Wales with far-reaching views over the surrounding hills, farmland, woodlands and valleys. Our self-catering holiday cottages have been carefully renovated to a high standard from traditional old stone barns, circa. 1800. They provide a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern day living in an idyllic location, nestling in the Pembrokeshire countryside.

We are located off a quiet country lane, down a private farm track, three miles from the picturesque village of Cenarth, famous for its beautiful waterfalls. The towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are 15 minutes away and the stunning sandy bay of Poppit Sands is just 20 minutes away.

Woodpecker Barn sleeps 4 in two first floor bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a cloakroom on the first floor with a WC and a handbasin. The main bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath and shower over, toilet, wash basin with mirror, light and shaver socket over and heated towel rail.

The open plan living/kitchen area is on the ground floor and accessed via a stable front door. It has a three-seater sofa and comfy armchair and a digital TV and DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen has an electric fan oven, hob and extractor. There is also a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. A high chair, iron and a hairdryer are also available.

The patio area, with garden furniture is situated at the front of the cottage in an enclosed garden. Parking for two cars is close to the cottage. The price of the cottage includes bedding, towels and heating. A complimentary welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits is also included.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge of £15 each per week.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please add £15 per week per pet. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
