Ty Paer is a superior cottage on a Grade II listed working farm. With its original features, and exposed beams it has both character and charm; the furniture and fittings are of the highest standard, for your comfort and convenience, and the popular resort of New Quay is just 2 miles away. The cottage is furnished and fitted to give all the comforts and convenience of a modern home, but also to give a feel of another period, in keeping with the property. New Quay which has been described as 'the jewel in the crown of beautiful West Wales' is less than 2 miles away. It has a blue flag beach, small fishing fleet and colourful pleasure craft, not to mention the bottle-nosed dolphins, harbour porpoise, and Atlantic grey seals which reside in Cardigan Bay and which are frequently seen from the pier.

Much of this coastline is designated Marine Heritage Coast, and there are numerous other lovely beaches to visit, and also many small towns to explore. The nearest main centres are Aberaeron, Cardigan and Aberystwyth on the coast and inland Lampeter and Carmarthen. Walkers will enjoy the many miles of coastal paths now available, and golf, fishing and horse riding are all within reach. We have two theatres nearby, Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan which also has a cinema, and the Arts Centre in Aberystwyth.

Ty Paer has one large bedroom with a high vaulted ceiling, with a black and brass metal framed double bedstead and pine bedroom furniture. There is ample room for a baby's cot, which can be provided if required, together with high chair, baby bath and bouncer. There is also a top quality sofa bed in the sitting room to extend the sleeping accommodation. The bathroom which has a sloping ceiling and roof light, is fully tiled, and features a free standing slipper bath - wonderful to relax in after a day's activity!

The cosily furnished sitting room has a large chimney with a canopy which extends right up into the bedroom above, a most unusual feature. Two steps take you down to the extra large, luxury kitchen, with its solid oak units, beech worktops and 'Belfast' sink. The kitchen is fully integrated with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. A large table and four chairs complete the kitchen. French style doors open onto the rear garden which is accessed from the concrete path outside by three steps up. The side lawn which continues round to the rear is accessed by one step.

The side and rear of Ty Paer is lawned and has a patio with garden furniture. It is fenced all around, and offers peace and privacy. The farm is less than 1/2 a mile away from the village which has two shops, a pub/restaurant and a post office. All charges include electricity and oil central heating. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided but please bring your own beach/swimming towels. The maximum occupancy is 4 adults plus baby. We regret that we do not accommodate any children over 12 months of age. No extra charge is made for the provision of baby equipment but please remember to state if required. One well-behaved pet is welcome at an additional charge of £20 per week. Please note smoking is not allowed inside the cottage.

As this is a working farm visitors could have the opportunity of observing some of the activities which take place on a Welsh farm, according to the season. Short breaks (minimum 3 nights) may be available out of high season, subject to availability.
