Ty Manorafon is nestled in the wooded valley of the Hoff Nant or 'Dear Stream', which runs through the private garden to the magnificent National Trust beach at Penbryn (15 minutes walk away). Originally a Georgian farmhouse, Ty Manorafon has been beautifully updated, authentically finished and comfortably furnished. It is based on the peaceful Manorafon holiday park overlooking Cardigan Bay and is an ideal base for groups of up to 10.
There is direct access to the coastal path with easy clifftop walks west to the villages of Tresaith and Aberporth and east to Llangrannog; where, once you've explored the caves and climbed the rock, your hard work is rewarded with award-winning home made ice cream in ever-changing flavours, or pub grub and a pint depending on your preference.
Accommodation
Ty Manorafon sleeps 8 - 10 guests (max. 8 adults) in four bedrooms, 3 doubles and one twin room. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room (with a secret 'cwtch' for the kids to hide in).
Bedroom 2 has a double bed plus a full size sofa bed to sleep a family group of four.
Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom, also on the first floor.
Also on this floor is a modern shower room.
On the ground floor is a large farmhouse dining room with Rayburn stove and table seating up 12 with a fully equipped kitchen adjacent, a cosy and spacious lounge, complete with wood burning stove, connecting to a large sun room which has doors to the private gardens. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with level access.
Outside
Outside is a barbecue area with tables and seating and private gardens to be enjoyed by house guests only. There is enough space for 4 cars directly at the front of the house. There are other car parking spaces elsewhere on site.
