Ty Haf is on the edge of the beach (sand, shingle, rock pools and dunes) in the heart of Borth village. It has direct access to the safe swimming beach (Blue Flag). This cosy stone built cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people and is located close to the beautiful Dovey Valley (its conservation areas and visitor centres), the coastal university town of Aberystwyth and Snowdonia National Park.
Ty Haf is on the coast between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth, about 3 hours by road or rail from Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Discover this idyllic area with its host of activities for people of all ages, including wind-surfing, horse riding and many beautiful coastal woodland and mountain walks. In season, you may well spot dolphins and seals, as well as a wide variety of birdlife. There is a famous links golf course in the village with membership and visiting facilities.
In Borth village with its vibrant community life, you'll find eateries, small art galleries and an animalarium. ln nearby Aberystwyth, you can enjoy the Arts Centre with its year-round programme of cinema, performing and visual arts, the castle, museum, pier and many other attractions.
The accommodation
Ty Haf sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms with the option of using the second living room as another bedroom to sleep an extra 2 on the sofa bed. Upstairs, there is one double bedroom overlooking the sea and one twin bedroom overlooking the village and hills.
On the ground floor, there is a lounge/bedroom (with double sofa bed) as well as a separate sitting room leading into an open-plan kitchen and dining area overlooking the sea. The kitchen has an electric cooker with two ovens, a microwave, a combined washer / dryer and a fridge freezer. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a toilet, wash basin and hip bath with shower over.
Outside
Outside there is a small front garden and at the rear is a patio which opens onto the beach. Parking is on the road near to the cottage.
