Lying just outside Llanelli in rural Carmarthenshire, Trepartridge Cottage offers quality self catering accommodation in quiet surroundings but within easy reach of the M4 and the Carmarthenshire countryside and ten minutes from some of the best beaches in Wales.
Trepartidge Cottage is a whitewashed converted stable block with beamed ceilings and all mod cons. It sits in a quiet valley next to a smallholding.
There is a fully equipped Shaker style kitchen diner with crockery and cutlery for 6, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. A conservatory overlooks the patio with patio furniture and a lawned area. There is also parking for 3 cars.
The living room has a settee, two single armchairs, colour TV, DVD/video, hifi, digibox and log fire. There is oil fired central heating and the whole cottage has double glazing .
A set of stairs off the living room leads upstairs where there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bedroom with a single bed and a cabin bed and bathroom with a toilet, wash-hand basin and a bath with shower. A cot, high chair and stairgates are available on request. Heating (oil fired central heating) and electric is included in price. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels.
We accept pets with prior approval and a small charge of £10 per pet. Around Trepartridge Cottage are several footpaths and bridleways. We have a badger sett in our woods and buzzards often circle overhead. A range of birds and wildlife frequent our tranquil valley.
Trepartridge Cottage is ideally located for visiting some of the top tourist attractions in Wales:
Two miles gets you into the centre of town with shops, restaurants and nightlife.
A short hop away is Pembrey Country Park with a dry ski slope, toboggan run, horse riding, pitch & putt, adventure playground, crazy golf, miniature railway, visitor centre and restaurant (we provide a pass for this); and the best beach in Wales at Cefn Sidan (blue flag and has lifeguards).
Pembrey Motor Racing Circuit is for the more adventurous - bikes, cars, go karts, lorries and formula Ford racing all happens during the year and there's also a quad bike circuit and a paint ball area in our local village Trimsaran.
The natural beauty of the Gower peninsula with its water sports, climbing and hang-gliding are an adventurous day out. Historic Carmarthen with its market and museums is only a short ride away as is the Gwili Steam Railway and Merlins Hill Centre.
There are many great places to explore both locally and further afield such as the National Showcaves Centre, Cefyn-yr-Erw primate sanctuary, National Botanic Gardens, Oakwood Theme park, Dolaucothi Goldmines, the Pendine Museum of Speed, Gower peninsula and the castles at Oxwich, Weobley, Dryslwyn, Llansteffan, Carreg Cennen & Kidwelly.
