Thyme Lodge is a lovingly converted barn, at Cryngae in Drefach Felindre. Set on its own at the edge of our farmyard, it has a private decked garden overlooking our unspoilt Welsh meadows leading down to the river.

Cryngae is an historic farm with 74 acres of meadows to wander and one mile of fishing on the river Nant Bargoed overlooking glorious ancient parkland.

There are 22 miles of footpaths close by and the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn with its ancient castle, shops, pubs and cafes is only 3 miles away.

As well as endless opportunities for lovely country walks, activities such as horse riding, canoeing, golf and fishing are available nearby. Numerous award winning beaches are only 20 minutes away on the Cardigan Bay Coast and the Pembrokeshire National Park is within easy reach.

Thyme Lodge is a perfect romantic hideaway in all seasons, a wonderful place to relax and recharge or to celebrate a special anniversary, and ideal for a couple with a baby. Whenever you visit, you can be assured of a warm welcome with peace and tranquillity in our lovely corner of Wales.

Accommodation
Thyme Lodge sleeps 2 in one double bedroom with all the accommodation on the ground floor. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and basin.

The open plan, spacious living space has vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. The large lounge area has a leather sofa, armchair, TV, DVD and CD player. There is a dining table with two chairs. French doors open out onto the secluded garden deck.

The fully fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

Outside
The secluded private deck garden at Thyme Lodge is furnished with a hardwood table and chairs, a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the wonderful country views and listen to birdsong. You are welcome to walk the fields and woods at Cryngae, avoiding the fields where there are farm animals.

There is a shared laundry room at Cryngae. Ample secure off road parking is available.

A non-refundable deposit is 20% required to confirm the booking, the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Dogs are charged at £15 each per week.
