Dylan Thomas Guided Tours

At Dylan Thomas Guided Tours we provide personalised guided tours, taking in the life, history and beautiful Welsh scenery associated with Dylan Thomas, the most famous Welsh poet.
During 2007, a BBC Film was produced called "The Edge of Love", Starring Keira Knightley as Vera Killick, Sienna Miller as Caitlin Thomas and Matthew Rhys as Dylan Thomas. On our guided tours, we visit many of the scenes from the film including the Pier at New Quay, Laugharne, Lampeter, the site of Majoda, Dylan's home in New Quay between 1944 and 1945 and the Black Lion in New Quay, reputed to be one of Dylan's favourite "watering holes."
Each Dylan Thomas Guided Tour is carefully planned to take in some of the most famous West Wales landmarks and locations in the life of Dylan Thomas and to provide an insight to his life and mind whilst writing his poetry.
Tours are either half or full day excursions, depending upon your pickup point and can be tailored to fit around your schedule. We can collect you from your hotel and can arrange meals and picnics if required
To minimise the pollution impact of CO2 emissions and carbon footprint on the Welsh environment, here at Dylan Thomas Guided Tours, for tours of three or less, we run a fleet of eco-friendly cars.
You can choose from:
Tour 1: New Quay & Aberaeron
Tour 2: Laugharne
Tour 3: West Wales Magic
We take time to stop and experience the scenery, breathe the air and, depending on the weather and season, take in the wildlife - especially the Red Kites soaring high overhead.
So bring your camera, pack your walking boots and join us at Dylan Thomas Guided Tours for a truly magical day in the Welsh countryside.
