The Old Coastguard Station is a beautifully presented detached cottage situated approximately 400 metres from Broad Haven’s beautiful, sandy, Blue Flag beach and Pembrokeshire’s Coastal Path. Situated in a quiet area of the village it is only 100 metres from the nearest pub and a few minutes away from local shops and amenities. The property has recently been refurbished and extended and provides excellent accommodation with quality and contemporary fittings and furnishings. This is a superb base for a holiday in Pembrokeshire. Whether you want to spend time on the broad sandy beach, visit the many local attractions, walk the coastal path or ‘JUST CHILL’ … this is the place for you.

The Old Coastguard Station sleeps 4 in two bedrooms: a double on the ground floor and a twin bedroom on the first floor. The upper floor has sloping ceilings and Velux windows. The twin bedroom has oak flooring and pine furniture consisting of wardrobe, bedside chest and chest of drawers. Also on this floor is the large bathroom with a granite tiled floor with a quality contemporary white suite of freestanding double ended bath with shower hose, WC, bidet, separate shower cubicle and heated towel rail. The wash hand basin is set in a slate worktop over a range of oak cupboards.

The large carpeted lounge has two brown leather sofas and a leather tub chair with footstool, a large coffee table, and a widescreen TV with DVD player, video, Freeview and Free Sky TV. The French doors open onto the lawned area of the garden with access to steps leading down to a quiet area close to the stream.

The carpeted ground floor bedroom has a double bed, fitted mirrored wardrobes, pine bedside tables and chest of drawers with a flat screen TV/DVD/Ipod player. There is a shower room next door with corner shower cubicle, toilet and countertop basin, with the automatic washing machine situated in an alcove. There is oil central heating throughout; this is included in the rental. All linen is provided.

The enclosed garden is south-west facing, getting the afternoon and evening sun; it has a large patio and decking area outside the house with a range of garden furniture to eat and relax on. The garden has a small number of steps and sloping lawn areas. A small stream runs along the edge of the garden, this is fenced off but young children would need supervision. There is a gravelled area alongside the house with off road parking for 1 car. Another car may be parked on the roadside. There are 2 steps down to the main entrance. The cottage is non-smoking and cannot accommodate pets and it is not an ideal property for toddlers.
