The Farmhouse, near the Brecon Beacons, lies in one of the loveliest valleys in Wales, surrounded by the woods and farmland of the Maerdy, once the home farm of the historic Robert Peel Estate in the ancient district of Dinefwr.

Together with the four cottages converted from the original farm buildings, the Farmhouse enjoys a tranquil setting amongst mature and natural wooded gardens with a stream. The grounds offer plenty of space for children and dogs, and lovely walks straight from the door will delight country lovers, bird watchers and serious hikers alike.

Close by are the Black Mountain, Llyne Brianne and Dinefwr Castle Estate, and within easy driving distance are several famous gardens including the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Cardigan Bay and the excellent sandy beaches of the Gower are within an hour’s drive. Trout and salmon fishing, climbing, swimming, golf and riding can all be enjoyed locally. Llandeilo is 3 miles away and Carmarthen 18 miles.
