Glandulas Cottage is a cosy stone cottage, adjacent to another holiday property and lying at the end of a single-track lane. The cottage nestles in the heart of the Ceredigion countryside between the beautiful mountains and the sea. It is the perfect rural retreat for 2, and is ideal for a small family.
This peaceful, comfortable cottage is only 15 minutes from the market towns of Lampeter, with its Welsh Quilt Centre, bars and restaurants, and wide choice of shops; and Tregaron, with its Red Kite Centre, local history museum, shops, cafes and pubs.
Country lovers have a wide choice of outdoor pursuits, from walking, cycling, horse riding and watersports, to photography, golf and fishing. You can explore the 60 miles of Ceredigion Coast Path, discovering smugglers coves, Blue Flag beaches and a submerged prehistoric forest; or spot dolphins, porpoises and seals offshore.
Other attractions include the Devil’s Bridge; Strata Florida Abbey; ancient castles and churches; 18th century Llanerchaeron NT house and gardens; the waterfalls, ravines and ‘wild nature’ of Hafod; and Aberglasney, a garden ‘lost in time’. Close to the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail, with Hostel Ty’n y Cornel, Llanddewi Brefi being the closest Dark Sky Discovery Site.
