Near the pretty market town of Newcastle Emlyn, The Barn is perfect for a relaxing holiday being only a short walk from the castle, the Teifi River, shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. Enjoy the comfortable accommodation in this stylish new conversion or laze on the sunny garden deck, enjoying the views over the valley. Then when youre refreshed and ready to venture further afield, the location is ideal for walking, hiking and exploring the Cardigan Bay area with its beautiful countryside and nearby sandy beaches, rocky coves and fishing villages.
The sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire are a short drive to the south and there are some fantastic walks around the Preseli Mountains and along the Pembrokeshire coast path and the newly opened Ceredigion coast path. This is a good way to see the coast and the wildlife of the area, including seals, otters, and dolphins. Local attractions include golf, horse riding, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, boat trips, cycling and many others both for the active and the less energetic visitor.
Accommodation
The Barn sleeps 4 in two ground floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The double bedroom has an ensuite shower room with shower, wash basin and toilet and the twin bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a bath with shower over, wash basin and toilet. A further 2 people can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the lounge. The comfortable lounge has two leather sofas and a TV with Freesat and DVD. Wifi broadband is available. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside
French doors lead from the lounge to a private patio with a garden table and chairs. A barbeque is available. There are also French doors in the double bedroom which open onto a sunny decking area at the end of the cottage. The enclosed garden has views over the valley. There is off road parking for up to four cars.
