Tamarind Cottage in Drefach Felindre in West Wales is one of two adjoining converted barns in a private courtyard garden at Cryngae. Set in 74 acres of unspoilt Welsh meadows, Cryngae is an historic farm with one mile of fishing on the river Nant Bargoed overlooking glorious ancient parkland. It has 22 miles of footpaths close by and is 3 miles from the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn with its ancient castle.

Horse riding, canoeing, golf and fishing, go karting and lots of other activities are on your doorstep. Numerous award winning beaches are only 20 minutes away on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast where you may spot seals and dolphins.

Tamarind Cottage is a cosy character cottage, tucked away beyond the main farmyard and overlooking meadows down to the river. It is a perfect romantic hideaway at any time of year. Whenever you visit, you can be assured of a warm welcome with peace and tranquillity in our lovely corner of Wales.

Accommodation
Tamarind Cottage sleeps 2 in one double bedroom; all the accommodation is on the ground floor. The bathroom has a shower over the bath together with toilet and wash basin.

The spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room is open plan with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams.

The large lounge area has comfy sofas, an electric wood burner effect fire, TV, DVD and CD player. French doors lead out to the gravel courtyard garden at the front of the cottage.

The fully fitted kitchen includes a microwave and dishwasher.

Outside
The pretty courtyard has hardwood tables and chairs. Guests are welcome to walk the fields and woods at Cryngae except where there are farm animals.

There is a shared laundry room at Cryngae. Ample secure off road parking is available.
