Stallion Valley (the English translation of Cwm March) is a tranquil rural hideaway centrally located in West Wales, an ideal base for exploring The Teifi Valley, Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire. It is less than 30 minutes away from New Quay, Aberaeron and award winning Cardigan Bay beaches - and the local pub/restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away. Stallion Valley Farmhouse was built in 1873, is a listed building and is full of character. It provides luxury self catering accommodation: period features such as open fires, slate & oak floors have been enhanced with the modern conveniences of under floor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, and bathrooms with gallons of hot water!
Stallion Valley Farmhouse sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 double) with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped from corkscrew to cafetiere with two luxury ovens, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is also a wood burner, lounge chairs, a TV and CD/radio. The lounge has leather sofas seating 6, an open fire, digital TV), DVD player and books and games.
The Farmhouse has a private terrace and garden, with garden furniture and BBQ. It has shared use of a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and washing line. It is surrounded by fields and set in private grounds, 3.5 acres of mature woodland and ponds. Enjoy the local wildlife, red kites, woodpeckers, buzzards, nuthatches, bats and squirrels. Have a BBQ, canoe on or have an open fire by our ponds. There are lots of local walks and pet dogs are welcome. We are dog friendly and have an outdoor "dog house" and a dog sitting service for guests who need to leave their dogs unattended.
For the active, Cardigan Bay offers walking, cycling, surfing, golf, quad bikes, shooting, paintball, white water and canoeing. The area is renowned for its fishing: the Teifi for its fly fishing, local lakes for trout and coarse fishing and of course there is excellent sea fishing.
Prices include VAT, central heating, electricity, hot water, bed linen, and towels. Dogs are charged at £25.00 per pet per week/break. There are a range of local shops or alternatively Tesco Direct will deliver.
The other cottages in this group are Stallion Valley Byre and Stallion Valley Mill. Interested in booking more than one cottage? See the Group Availability Table.
