Stable Cottage (sleeps 4), on Penbeili Mawr Organic Farm, nestles in the tranquil countryside yet is within 20 minutes of the stunning Ceredigion Heritage Coast.
Stable Cottage is one of three cottages at Penbeili Mawr Farm - a secluded 87 acre organic farm encompassing 30 acres of broadleaf woodland which provides beautiful walks and the opportunity to catch sight of a variety of wildlife, including the majestic Red Kite. Within easy reach are the stunning coves and beaches of Llangranog, Tresaith, Penbryn and Aberporth where you may see seals and dolphins. Penbeili Mawr is just 5 miles from the bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn with its ancient castle and abundance of cafes and pubs. Other local attractions include the Steam Railway at Henllan (3 miles), the National Wool Museum at Drefach Felindre (4 miles) and fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi. A little further afield are the picturesque Cenarth Falls, the seaside towns of New Quay and Aberaeron and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran.
Stable Cottage, converted from a 200 year old stone barn, is a cosy two bedroom, two bathroom cottage, all on ground level. Refurbished in 2008, Stable Cottage is comfortably furnished and offers spacious accommodation with a vaulted open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has a 32” LCD Digital TV, DVD and CD player and radio. The dining area has an oak dresser and table with 4 chairs. The spacious master bedroom has a king size oak bed and is ensuite to a shower room with power shower. The twin bedroom has its own bathroom plus power shower. The cottage also has full oil central heating.
Stable Cottage has a private garden, overlooking woodland and rolling hills, with ample parking for two cars. The garden has wooden garden furniture and a BBQ. All bed linen, towels (not beach towels), heating and electricity are included in the price. A cot and high chair are available on request. Sorry we cannot accommodate pets and no smoking is allowed in the cottage.
