South Seas is a fabulous five bedroom holiday cottage, centrally located in Tenby. It is within easy walking distance of the South Beach, Town Centre, Harbour, Tenby Golf Club and bowling green. This traditional mid terrace house has been sympathetically renovated throughout to a very high standard and makes an ideal base to explore Pembrokeshire from.
Tenby is a historic walled town renowned for its picturesque harbour and Georgian architecture. There is a choice of glorious sandy beaches with stunning coastal paths, or take a boat trip to Caldey Island situated a few miles off the coast, for the perfect day out!
The centre of Tenby is a maze of narrow little streets; there are plenty of interesting and quirky shops to visit. In the summer,bars and restaurants set up al fresco seating and there is a wide choice of good places to eat. Nearby, visitor attractions including Folly Farm, Dinosaur Park, Manor Park, Oakwood & Heatherton are excellent places to visit with children. Or explore Colby Woodland Gardens, magnificent Pembroke Castle or take a boat trip to Skomer Island when the bluebells are out. There is a Tourist Information centre in Tenby that gives out really good advice on all visitor attractions in the area.
South Seas offers spacious accommodation and is ideally suited to a large family group or two families sharing.
South Seas sleeps a total of 10 people, up to 6 adults and 4 children in 5 bedrooms. On the first floor are 2 double bedrooms, one with a freeview TV and DVD, also a bunk bedroom. On the second floor are two more bedrooms both with 2 single beds in each.
On the first floor is the family bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and washbasin. Also on this floor is a separate shower room with a large shower cubicle, wc, washbasin and shaver socket. On the second floor is a wc and washbasin.
The large comfortable lounge has a cast iron fireplace, colour TV with sky freesat, video player, DVD and hi-fi system. The well equipped kitchen/diner has a family dining table seating 10, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, automatic washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer. French doors lead out to the garden. On this floor there is also a cloakroom leading to a downstairs toilet.
Outside is an enclosed sunny rear garden with a patio being partly paved and lawned, with flower borders, garden furniture and useful garden store suitable for secure storage of bicycles.
Rent is inclusive of electricity and gas fired central heating. Bed linen is provided, please bring your own towels and tea towels. As well as on street parking, additional car parking facilities are nearby at the Rectory and multi-storey car parks. Changeover day is Friday. Sorry, non smokers only and no pets allowed.
