Skomer Cottage is centrally located and ideally placed to explore Pembrokeshire with Tenby, Fishguard, Cardigan and Haverfordwest all within easy reach. Lying within the boundaries of the scenic Pembrokeshire National Park and set in the grounds of The Old Coach House, there are 6 acres of natural grounds and fabulous gardens for you to enjoy and relax in with fantastic views over Rosebush Reservoir and the Preseli Mountains.
Newport Sands beach is just 8 miles away and the Preseli Mountains are just up the hill - leave the car and walk from your accommodation! There is a very good local pub serving real ale and good food within 4 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot if you are feeling energetic and would like to 'soak-up' the local atmosphere!
Skomer is a detached cottage set within the formal gardens and adjacent to The Old Coach House but without sacrificing any privacy. The fully self-contained Skomer Cottage enjoys superb views across the gardens, the reservoir and surrounding hills. Accommodation has been designed specifically for couples but with plenty of room for the addition of a baby or child sharing the same bedroom.
Skomer is a one bedroom cottage on two floors sleeping 2/3. There is a king size double bed in the large bedroom, a bed-settee and a flatscreen TV with Freesat channels.
The bathroom has a bath with overhead electric shower, WC and wash basin.
On the ground floor there is a dual aspect open plan living/dining/kitchen area and French windows opening out onto the patio and gardens. In the living area there is a leather settee, armchair, coffee table, dining table and chairs. The digital TV has a Freesat box and built in DVD/CD player. The kitchen area has a ceramic hob cooker, microwave and fridge.
There is vehicular access for loading and unloading and there are plenty of spaces for everyone in the on site car park about 30 yards away from Skomer Cottage.There are gravel paths, picnic benches and streams which meander through the extensive gardens. The site is fenced but cannot be considered dog proof!
To make your stay as comfortable as possible all our properties are equipped to a very high standard. Bedding, household linen and towels are provided with beds made up ready for your arrival. Cot bedding and beach towels are not provided. There is a laundry room on site. Cot/travel cot and highchair are available on request.
Heating is provided by night storage heaters and a wall mounted log effect convector heater in the living area. There is no extra charge for electricity. Pets are welcome and there is a charge of £15 per week per pet. This is a no smoking property.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. If you are bringing any pets please add £15 per dog per week.
