Rose Cottage is one of a cluster of five pretty holiday cottages set in tranquil surroundings in the heart of West Wales. A special place to relax and explore all that the area has to offer - the spectacular beaches of Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire, stunning wooded valleys, unique wildlife and attractions to keep all of the family amused.
Our new purpose-built leisure facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub and a 40ft games room. The jacuzzi/hot tub overlooks the pool and is a great place to unwind after a day out, while the well-equipped games room has a pool table, table tennis and various games, puzzles and books to help keep all ages entertained.
The original stone farm buildings are now completely transformed into two of the sweetest holiday cottages – a favourite choice for couples or small families. Full of character, with beamed ceilings and cosy furnishings, guests have returned time and time again. Furnished throughout to the highest standard, both have fully equipped kitchens with gas cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave and a wide selection of crockery and utensils.
Rose Cottage sleeps 4/5 people – one double bedroom, one with bunk-beds and a very small single bedroom/cot-room. There is a family bathroom, with bath and shower. The spacious living rooms are comfortably furnished, with beamed ceilings, wood-burner and include a dining area. Each has a TV, DVD and video, and a selection of books and games.
The cottages have central heating throughout. In addition to the large communal gardens and farmland, each has a small enclosed garden, making them safe for young children to play in. All bed linen/tea towels are supplied. We request that you bring your own towels. A basket of logs is provided for the wood-burner. A cot and high-chair are available on request. One pet can be accommodated (by prior arrangement only) at an extra charge of £25 per week.
Available weekly (or longer), for short breaks or long weekends, each cottage offers comfortable furnishings, generous equipment, pretty bed-linen made up for your arrival, and even a bottle of wine to welcome you and start your holiday off to a relaxing start!
In the extensive gardens surrounding the cottages are swings, slide, climbing frames and a large trampoline for youngsters to enjoy – and there are also plenty of outdoor seating areas for mum and dad! Children and adults alike will enjoy the extensive gardens and adjoining paddocks, bounded by the River Sylgen – perfect for play, nature walks, having a barbecue or simply sitting back and escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Whichever direction you head in will lead to a beautiful, unspoilt landscape - rolling countryside, quiet country lanes and hedgerows displaying colourful wild flowers from early spring right through to autumn, and wooded valleys offering peaceful trails. Bird lovers will be in for a treat with the famous red kite, buzzards, woodpeckers, owls and a colony of swallows and other common birds regular visitors.
In secluded countryside, away from busy roads, yet convenient for the local market towns, the magnificent coastline and a whole host of holiday activities, Rose Cottage is the perfect retreat!

A one third non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking, the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Pets are charged at £25 per week per pet.
