In the heart of St Davids, this delightful 19th century stone cottage enjoys what one visitor described as ‘one of the finest views in Britain’. Its spacious and secluded garden commands a spectacular view of St. Davids beautiful cathedral, framed by the distant Pembrokeshire hills. A short walk takes you to the coastal path, local shops, nearby beauty spots such as Bryn Y Garn and, of course, the cathedral itself. St Davids is renowned as an historical city - although no bigger than a village – and draws visitors who are attracted by its cultural heritage and who enjoy the galleries and fine eating places here.

The natural centre of the Pembrokeshire National Park, St. Davids provides easy access to any of the superb clean beaches and sandy coves that fringe this attractive peninsula. The coastal path, with its spectacular views, is a short walk away, and the area abounds in sites of historical and natural interest.

Accommodation
Rock House sleeps 5 in 3 first floor bedrooms: one double, one twin and one large single. Two of the bedrooms enjoy unrivalled views over St Davids cathedral. The larger has a king size bed with orthopaedic mattress and is a lovely spacious room with sloping ceilings lending character. The other room overlooking the garden and the cathedral has a single bed, also with an orthopaedic mattress. The third bedroom is at the front of the house and has comfortable twin beds. There is also a bright, newly fitted luxury bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Rock House has been carefully modernised to retain its charming atmosphere and its sunny interior exudes an atmosphere of peace and calm. The large through lounge/dining room makes a feature of one of the original stone walls and the dining table set before it seats 6 easily. In the lounge area, the comfortable sofa and armchairs provide ample seating and the coal-effect gas fire is perfect for cosy evenings in. There is a TV/DVD player in the living room and a selection of books, DVDs and games which guests are welcome to enjoy. The house also enjoys wireless internet access.

The large light kitchen, which is exceptionally well equipped, has been fitted with modern units, and includes an electric hob and oven, as well as a microwave and toaster. A table and chairs are set in the middle of the room. A large fridge-freezer, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the adjacent utility room. A door leads out from the kitchen to the lawned rear garden.

Outside
The mature and well-stocked garden is completely enclosed and is a magnet for a variety of butterflies during the summer months. There is a garden table ideal for outdoor meals and a garden bench. The property enjoys its own off-street parking to the side of the house, a great advantage in St Davids.
