No.3, Tenby Lodge, a New England Style Property, is set only about 150 metres from the beach. Set in an enviable position, the last property in a block of three, the Lodge has lovely sea views from the upstairs balcony whilst there is a private area at the end of the property that catches the sun in the evening.
Freshwater East, is situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park and has a large crescent shaped beach backed by rolling dunes. With many beaches and headlands to explore, one direction takes you to Swanlake bay and then Manorbier whilst the other direction takes you to Stackpole Quay and the outstanding Barafundle beach. The coastal cruiser bus runs regularly in season to a wide variety of locations.
Nearby medieval castles to visit include Pembroke Castle, Manorbier Castle, Carew Castle plus Tidal Mill.
Some of the other places not to miss are Bosherston Lily Ponds, Colby Lodge Woodlands Gardens (National Trust), plus the harbour towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Family attractions include Oakwood theme park, Heatherton, Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park, to name a few.
The village pub is the Freshwater Inn with a spacious garden and sea views. The village of Lamphey (approximately 2.5 miles) offers 2 restaurants, a public house and a petrol station with a shop for everyday groceries, plus a railway station. The popular Stackpole Inn and Carew Inn are both about a 10 minutes drive.
