Set on a livestock farm in the beautiful countryside of north Pembrokeshire, Golchdy is a comfortable detached cottage that’s perfect for a family holiday, walking and couples looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.
Chickens range around the farm, sheep and cattle can be seen in the fields with the Preseli Hills forming a backdrop. Nearby, the Crosswell Horse Agency offer treks and tuition for all ages and the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm (10 minutes) is very popular for a family day out. The moorland slopes of the Preseli Hills beckon for countryside walks and exploring.
The Pembrokeshire coast is within a 20 minute drive: walk the Coast Path, play on the sandy beaches of Newport and Poppit or dive in and try coasteering, sea kayaking or take a boat trip to spot the beautiful wildlife, bottlenose dolphins and seals.
Two old market towns, Cardigan (15 minutes) and Newcastle Emlyn (30 minutes) are nearby. Each has shops, cafes, pubs and a castle, offering a taste of Welsh life and a laid-back atmosphere.
