Elmtree Cottage is a large stone cottage (one of five) at Owl Farm near Cardigan complete with its own private hot tub. Great for family holidays with the award-winning beach at Poppit Sands nearby and ideal for walkers with miles of coastal paths and the Preseli Hills to explore.
The cottage garden and hot tub offer the ideal spot for relaxing at the end of a day out and the cosy lounge with wood burner is great for evenings in. Owl Farm is set back from the road down a private lane and within the grounds there are nature walks with panoramic views toward the Preseli hills, a wetland with bird hide, a designated playing field and picnic areas. The farm does not raise animals for meat, but specialises in the conservation of rare breed and endangered species. The many unusual animals are primarily pets, that guests are encouraged to meet and learn all about.
Owl farm is located within the beautiful Teifi Valley, on the borders of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire and there are many local activities and attractions including fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi, Cenarth Falls and seal and dolphin spotting boat trips. The nearby town of Cardigan has supermarkets, cafés, independent shops, galleries and a restored castle. The market town of Newport is half an hour away with lovely walks around the Nevern Estuary and plenty of places to eat out.
