At the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is Preseli Hills Cottage, a very comfortable and spacious newly renovated old stone barn with log fire, exposed beams and slate floors. Situated above the Gwaun Valley and 5 miles from the coast, this is an area of outstanding beauty with wooded valleys, streams and waterfalls (including a 70 feet cascade 10 minutes walk from the cottage) giving way to moorland with Welsh ponies and other wildlife. As you would expect the cottage is in the Preseli Hills giving stunning views and scenery, which are perfect for bird watchers and walkers (there are footpaths running from the house); there are also bridleways in the area for mountain bikers. Cerrig Lladron is the nearest hill providing a panoramic view of the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast from the top. The cottage is ideally based for exploring the beautiful beaches and cliffs of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

On a summer evening, walk down through the woods to the famous Dyffryn Arms where beer is served by the jug from a barrel.

Preseli Hills Cottage provides everything that will make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. The cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom with extra length queen size bed and ensuite shower room with wc and basin; the second bedroom with twin beds is next to a bathroom with bath and shower over. There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine. Outside is a private patio garden with furniture. The cottage also has a utility room. Oil fired central heating and electricity are included throughout. Linen and towels are provided.

The living room has a log burning stove with an initial supply of logs, free channel satellite TV, DVD and VCR player. Wireless internet access available. Outside enjoy a BBQ (provided) in the private patio garden with table and chairs, guests are also free to roam the 5 acre property along with its sheep, geese, chickens and ducks.

There is ample parking at this cottage.
