Pond House Holiday Cottages are situated on the working smallholding of Blaencwm, in the village of Blaenffos, near Cardigan in West Wales. The smallholding comprises four acres of pasture, woodland, orchard and a natural spring fed pond; a perfect setting for a quiet rural holiday. Blaenffos village is on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park and only six miles from Cardigan and the nearest sandy beaches. The nearest golf course is 9 miles away.
This area has so much to offer the visitor including several family theme parks and numerous local pubs and restaurants. For sunny days there are coastal walks, safe, sandy beaches, hill walking, mountain biking and wild life including a variety of birds, otters and, if you're lucky, dolphins out at sea.
There are two cottages, Pond House and Pond Cottage, which are available for self-catering holidays throughout the year. They both have views of Frenni Fawr in the Preseli Hills and views down the valley towards Boncath.
Accommodation
Pond Cottage is an electrically heated one-storey property which provides very comfortable accommodation for two people. There is a double bedroom with King Size bed, and en-suite bath/shower, WC and WHB. The bedroom also boasts a separate sauna. There is a further shower and WC.
The lounge has a TV/DVD player/freeview and a radio/CD/cassette player. There is a Calor gas wood burner effect stove in the lounge if required for a small extra charge - charge applies 1st October to 1st May. The kitchen and dining area is fully fitted with cooker, grill, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Additional freezer space is available in the owners' freezer. There is a tumble dryer available for a small charge.
The property may be suitable for those with limited mobility (see Access Statement for full details). The majority of the living space is situated on one floor. There are three steps up to the bedroom with a hand-rail.
Outside
To the rear of the property, is a walled garden with patio table with chairs and a barbecue. There is a separate exercise area in the orchard for dogs which is available for communal use. Parking is available immediately outside the cottage for ease of access.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. Pets are charged £20 per week per pet. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: cheque, card.
