Enjoy a luxurious holiday in this self catering cottage nestled in 32 acres, surrounded by Welsh countryside with views towards the Preseli Hills and only 2 miles from wonderful National Trust beaches. Penbontbren Cottage is in the grounds of Penbontbren Luxury Bed and Breakfast, converted from an old Welsh farm into superb guest accommodation. The cottage, the original farmhouse for the farm, has many original features coupled with all the modern essentials for a comfortable stay.

There is an award winning farm shop at the top of our lane selling mainly Welsh produce, and all the essentials that you would need. Penbontbren is also licensed and is happy to provide a selection of beers, wines and spirits. You may also take breakfast at Penbontbren Luxury Bed and Breakfast's dining room (at a charge).

We are less than 3 miles to Penbryn and Tresaith beaches (safe and sandy), with many other beaches within 10 minutes drive. Penbontbren is a rare gem tucked away in the beautiful rural countryside of West Wales. Meaning "above the wooden bridge", Penbontbren is the ideal place to experience a break with a truly Welsh flavour.

The accommodation
Penbontbren Cottage sleeps 7 in four bedrooms. On the first floor: 1 double room with Super King size bed and en-suite (including bath and shower), 1 double/twin room and one twin room suitable for children. The family bathroom, which has both a bath and a shower, is also on this floor. On the ground floor is a single bedroom and a separate toilet with wash basin.

The well-equipped farmhouse kitchen has a double oven and halogen hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and farmhouse dining table. There are two comfortable sitting rooms, one with inglenook and a wood burning stove. There are flat screen televisions and DVD players (with DVD library) in the sitting rooms and bedrooms. A small conservatory looks out over the private enclosed garden and fields at the rear.
