Pen-y-Bont is a lovely cottage for two set in 4 acres of mature gardens near Pembrokeshire's south coast and is an excellent base for exploring this beautiful county. The single storey cottage is adjacent to the main house but self-contained with its own patio and parking area. The newly completed accommodation has been specially adapted for wheelchair users and offers many excellent features to ensure your comfort.
The sandy beaches of Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot are all in close proximity. Amroth is the nearest beach area and it is only a few minutes car drive. For the more energetic there is a pleasant 2 mile walk down through the woods passing through Colby woodland gardens, a National Trust property. Lifts back can be arranged! Amroth is also the start of the 186 miles long Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
The busy little town of Narberth is only ten minutes away. With its unique range of shops - antiques, craft, quality clothing, cafes and restaurants its a shopping experience with a difference.
Pembrokeshire has lots to offer to both young and old and we will be delighted to share our knowledge of the area with you so that you can maximize your time here and see and do things which are of particular interest to you. We want to make your holiday special.
Accommodation
Pen-y-Bont sleeps two in one comfortable double bedroom. The bed can be used as two singles or as a super king. Each bed is adjustable. The bedside lamps are controlled by touch.
The new luxuriously fitted wet room has a glass screened shower area, wash basin and WC. It has been specially equipped with a Doc M pack, grab rails, a stool for use in the shower and an alarm system which is connected to the main house.
The lounge/dining/kitchen area is open plan with rise and recline armchairs and a flat screen television with DVD player and Freeview. A wi-fi internet connection is available free of charge
The electric hob, sink and wall units are lower than in a conventional kitchen. The equipment includes a washing machine, fridge and microwave. The microwave can be used as a conventional convection oven, microwave or grill.
Outside
There is a patio with garden furniture and a barbeque can be provided on request. Guests are welcome to use and enjoy the extensive grounds (4 acres) surrounding the main house. Driveway parking is available alongside the cottage.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please pay the deposit within 7 days.
