Nanternis Farm is an 8-acre smallholding nestling in a hamlet, situated in an idyllic sheltered valley located between New Quay and Cwmtydu near the Cardigan Bay coast. Nanternis is a very good location for walkers with a complete network of walks from the cottage door including direct access to the Ceredigion Coastal path. One walk leads to one of the most secluded coves in the area with a profusion of bird life and wild flowers. Horse riding, golf, sailing, castles and gardens are all within easy reach.
Old Farmhouse Cottage is one of our two holiday cottages grouped together around the main farmhouse. Both cottages have their own private gardens and are beautifully converted from 18C stone buildings, which have recently been refurbished to a high and homely standard.
There is a pub within walking distance of the cottages. This serves excellent food and has a pretty garden and children’s play area. A little further way, New Quay offers a range of pubs, cafes, takeaways and ice cream parlours. From the harbour here you can take a boat trip to see the the famous New Quay dolphins and the seals and birdlife along the coast. You can go to the beach and enjoy all of this then come back to the tranquillity of your cottage and garden in Nanternis.
