Noddfa, meaning ‘retreat’, is a charming 19th Century stone cottage, situated high up in the village of St Dogmaels, with views overlooking the River Teifi. The beautiful beaches of Poppit Sands are only one mile away. The coastal path offers breathtaking sights, fabulous walks and secluded beaches. Pembrokeshire has a wealth of ancient history in the form of castles, cromlechs and stones to explore. The Preseli Hills are within easy reach, together with enchanting fishing villages and harbours. There are many great pubs and restaurants to discover and the market town of Cardigan is only a short drive away. For those wanting a more energetic holiday, there are numerous activities including canoeing, quad biking, horse riding as well as animal and theme parks in the surrounding areas.

Noddfa sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and basin. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, dining area with table and chairs. There is a cosy lounge with settee and armchairs and solid fuel stove, TV and DVD player. Outside, there is a large enclosed sunny decking/patio area with table/seats.

Noddfa has electric heating/hot water but also a solid fuel stove. All electricity is included, but coal is supplied for first few days free, then available locally (£6 per bag, lasts approx 3 days). Up to 2 well behaved pets welcome. Smoking outside only please. All linen and towels are provided (but please bring your own beach towels). Roadside parking is available.

Noddfa is a lovely cottage on the edge of a quiet village, close to the coast and many other attractions of this beautiful part of Wales, offering a great holiday all year round.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
