On a cobble beach at Burton Ferry on the River Cleddau with all-tide boat launching and moorings available, Morning Tide is a waterfront cottage situated on a gated site at the end of a private road just upriver from Neyland Marina. It is one of six individually owned cedar cabins on almost one acre of pine trees and gently sloping lawns facing south across the beautiful Cleddau Estuary. The private beach makes this an ideal spot for sailing, water skiing, canoeing and fishing or just sitting on the cedar deck watching the boats go by.

A short drive north, west or south will bring you to some of Pembrokeshire’s stunning sandy beaches and sea-cliffs renowned for wildlife including dolphins, seals and porpoise. Less than a mile away you can join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the Celtic Trail.

Golf, horse riding and sailing schools are all available within 5 miles. The ‘Jolly Sailor’ pub with good food and beers is less than ½ mile away along a level road or along the cobble beach.

Accommodation
Morning Tide sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms: one double bedroom, one with two single beds and one with two bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with a power shower over. The living room, with estuary views through floor-to-ceiling windows, has a 23” flat-screen TV/DVD with satellite, two couches and two easy chairs. The dining area, also with sweeping estuary views, has a table and chairs for six. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, built-in electric hob and oven and filter coffee machine.

Outside
A full-width cedar deck provides space for relaxing, dining, entertaining, or just watching the boats. A barbeque is available. Cars may be unloaded right outside the door and car parking is less than 50 feet from the cottage, within the site. Access to the cottage is by wide cedar steps with handrails both sides. The site is fenced and gated and access to the cobbled beach is through a locked gate, for safety.

• You are welcome to bring your boat(s) at a charge of £10/week/boat. There is car and trailer access to the water at all tides. Please note that the Cleddau is strongly tidal and great care must be taken when using any boat
• Morning Tide is non-smoking
• We charge a security deposit of £50/week which we refund within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday if there have been no breakages or damage and no extra cleaning is required
• For health and safety reasons, if you need a cot, travel cot or highchair, please bring your own
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 2 months before the start of the holiday. Add £20 per pet if bringing any. Please send a separate payment of £50 with the balance as a damages deposit. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque, paypal. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
