Morfa Gwyn, only 200 metres from Blue Flag sandy beaches, is the original ‘Sea Captain’s House’ built in 1897 with a lovely character and spacious feel about it. It is a semi-detached three storey 5 bedroom cottage just up from the village shops. You are within a short walk of Aberporth’s two beaches with their visiting dolphins in summer. There are sea views from various rooms in the house with the best of all from the second storey games room.

The accommodation
Morfa Gwyn sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms.

Ground floor:
2 double bedrooms (one with wash basin), 2 twin bedrooms, kitchenette / utility with freezer, and shower room with toilet.

First floor:
bedroom 5 with full size bunk beds and wash basin; family bathroom with bath, toilet and wash basin; large living room with sofas, recliner, digital TV and DVD player; dining room with table seating 10 and fully equipped kitchen with a small table plus 4 chairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher, halogen hob, oven, microwave and all the usual equipment.

Second floor:
a very large games room with 3 large sofas, drinks table and pool table, table football and dart board.

Outside
To the rear of the house is a large lawned garden, enclosed so children can’t wander. Near the house is the patio with BBQ and picnic area. The garden has low level mains halogen night lighting. There is an outhouse with a washing machine. Outside at the back of the house, there is a warm shower for those returning from the sea. Private parking is at the front of the house for two small cars or one large.

- Bed linen, tea towels, face and bath towels are provided.
- A travel cot and highchair are available.
- Tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, washing powder, dish washer tablets, usual kitchen cleaning solutions and cloths are supplied.
- Central heating/fuel/electricity all included. There are no supplementary charges.
- Smoking is not allowed within the property.
- We charge a refundable damages deposit of £50 payable before the start of the holiday. This is returned at the time of departure subject to the property being left in good condition.
- One very well behaved pet is allowed, but no puppies. If you bring a dog, the damages deposit doubles to £100.
- Morfa Gwyn is an ideal house for family holidays but bookings are not accepted from groups of young people or single sex groups.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A refundable damages deposit of £50 is required per booking. This is doubled to £100 if you are bringing a pet. Please pay the deposit within 5 working days. Payment methods accepted: cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
