Millside Chapel is a stunning converted chapel, now a charming two storey cottage with beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls, in a perfect location, on the edge of the award winning village of St Florence in Pembrokeshire. The cottage is set back off the main country lane, in a lovely rural position, with gorgeous woodland views from all rooms.

The pretty village, set in a sheltered valley surrounded by woodlands and streams, has a c13th church, a friendly village pub serving excellent food, a shop, hotel, tea rooms and children’s play park. It is only 2.5 miles from the beach at Manorbier and 3 miles from the historic walled town and popular seaside resort of Tenby.

This location has a beautiful coastline, with a fantastic coastal path and renowned local beaches such as Barafundle, Broad Haven, Manorbier, Skrinkle and Swanlake Bay. It is a short drive to local beauty spots such as Stackpole Quay, with its superb tea room, the famous Lily ponds at Bosherston and National Trust woodland.

The area is excellent for surfing, diving and climbing and local wildlife is abundant. There are a number of historic sites and castles close by and various leisure parks in the area including Folly Farm, Manor Wildlife Park, Oakwood, Heatherton and the Dinosaur Park.

This beautiful cottage is an ideal base to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

Millside Chapel sleeps 8 in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 2 king size, and a room with 1 single and a set of bunk beds.

Millside Chapel is a converted chapel, re-built in 1836. It is a two storey property set back off the main country lane, in a rural position, with lovely woodland views surrounding it and opposite is an old water mill ruin.
There is a shared driveway, leading to ample parking directly outside for two cars, three if carefully parked.
The shared driveway and parking area is layed with chippings.
Small fenced off and gated garden, accessed from your parking area outside the cottage via 3 small steps.
There is one step up to the front door and a 6 inch step into the house.
The ground level of the house offers a large family lounge with beamed ceilings and stone wall with a log burner and a modern adjoining kitchen/diner, plus a toilet and there are no steps on this level.
The kitchen facilities are new and easy to use, with instructions available for all the appliances and a cordless kettle.
The house is uncluttered and has plenty of space.
The doors are standard widths and heights.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, all carpeted with beamed ceilings, two king size and one with a bunk plus a single bed.
There is a full handrail on the right-hand side of the staircase and a handrail halfway up on the left.
One king-size room has an en-suite with a walk-in shower; there is no handrail.
The family bathroom is of a good size with a bath and tap shower and a rain shower overhead. There is no handrail currently fitted.
All rooms have blackout blinds, and there are bedside reading lights as well as ceiling light fittings.
Lighting is good throughout the property, with many windows overlooking the woodland views.
The property has a TV, DVD Player, Video Player and Sky (basic channels) all with remote controls.
There is no telephone, and mobile reception is limited. Vodafone seems to be more successful in obtaining a signal at various points at the property.
There is both Wi Fi and network connections available.
There are plenty of electric power points available throughout the house. Electric sockets in the kitchen are at worktop height; others in the house are above skirting level.
Dogs are welcome at Millside Chapel but are requested to be kept downstairs. A temporary stair gate is available to deter any dogs from going upstairs.
