Ivy Cottage is a cosy retreat nestled in the Pembrokeshire National Park with sea views over St Brides Bay. This 4 bed property, complete with atmospheric glass fronted wood burning stove, is only 8 minutes walk from the enchanting village of Little Haven with its beach, amenities and the Coastal Path.

The property is stone built and converted from a farm building in 1982. It boasts sea views from front and back gardens as well as from the living room and one of the bedrooms. It was completely refurnished in 2008.

Little Haven is a small picturesque village forming a perfect base to explore the beautiful beaches and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Within this tiny village are three welcoming pubs (with traditional and modern food largely sourced locally), a post office/tea room, a pottery/craft shop/workshop and galleries which display and sell local artists’ work. Little Haven also boasts a slip-way with sailing playing an important part in village life.

Nearby are the spectacular Blue Flag beaches of Broadhaven and Newgale, which enjoy water sports centres, whilst Marloes and Barafundle Bay are also within a short distance by car and have been voted amongst the best beaches in Britain. In fact there are more Blue Flag beaches in this small area of the Pembrokeshire Coastline than anywhere else in the UK.

There are also numerous other activities with the nearby Nolton Stables for pony riding, boat trips around Skomer Island to see the Puffins, Sheerwaters, seals and wildlife adventure trips with Dale Sea Safari through Dale Sailing, sea fishing from Dale, sea kayak hire from Broad Haven and surfing lessons in Newgale.

Ivy cottage is perfect for families and couples alike, having no passing traffic to spoil the peaceful retreat. It fits the bill for all sorts of holiday-makers, perfect for walkers, beach lovers, and those wanting romantic breaks.

Ivy has an open plan living room/kitchen area with conservatory/dining area. The living area, which has views over St Bride’s Bay, is well equipped with satellite TV, DVD player (with a selection of DVDs), playstation 2 (with some games), CD/radio and books all to be enjoyed around a glass fronted wood burning stove (logs available locally). A second seating area is provided in the conservatory that leads out to the secluded patio area, garden and barbeque with stunning views over St Brides bay. The kitchen area is fully equipped with oven/hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and ample cupboard space. The cottage sleeps 4 people with a full sized double room and twin (with 2’6” beds) room accessed by a full staircase. There is also a bathroom upstairs with a full-sized bath and shower.

There is a dedicated parking space outside the front door with ample further parking available on the site.

All bedding is included but guests are required to bring their own towels. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved pet at an additional charge of £15 per week. Electricity is included in the rental price.
