Less than 4 minutes walk from the beach, Howelston Mill Cottage is in an idyllic setting down a quiet private lane in a beautiful wooded valley in Little Haven, Pembrokeshire. Once the Mill Keeper’s cottage, the property has been renovated and extended to provide an exceptional standard of accommodation with everything you’ll need for a wonderful holiday.
Little Haven nestles in the southwest corner of St Brides Bay in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The village has a safe sandy beach with a slipway, three pubs, a café as well as a pottery and art gallery. It is a popular holiday destination that draws visitors back year after year. At low tide you can walk along the sand to the larger village of Broad Haven, at other times it’s a stroll away along the lane.
Howelston Mill Cottage is ideal for holidays at all times of year with plenty of space for relaxing outside in summer on the patio and lawn while in cooler seasons, the wood burning stove and full central heating mean you’ll always be cosy and warm. You’re sure to enjoy your stay here whether you’re having a holiday with the children, playing on the beach and visiting Pembrokeshire’s many family attractions or if you’ve come to make the most of the fresh air in Pembrokeshire’s stunning scenery. Try walks along the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path, boat trips round the islands for bird watching, watersports such as surfing, kayaking and windsurfing or our newest one: coasteering!

Howelston Mill sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms: 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms located on the first floor along with a shower room.
On the ground floor, the well equipped kitchen/diner is a pleasure to cook in with electric hob, double oven, combination microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The table seats 8, perfect for family meals together. There’s also a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The downstairs bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
The spacious lounge with freeview TV/DVD has plenty of comfortable seating with sofas and armchairs from where you can watch the flames in the wood burning stove or look through the French doors to the patio and garden.
The separate family room with freeview TV/DVD, games and jigsaws, and a sofa is perfect for those moments when you want to get away from everyone! Since the cottage has WiFi internet access, no-one need be out of touch unless they want to be.
Outside
From the living room, doors lead onto a large patio area in a private and enclosed lawned garden. Enjoy the barbeque and make the most of summer weather to dine outdoors - table and chairs for 8 provided. There’s private parking for 3 cars.
