A peaceful and secluded detached bungalow in North Pembrokeshire, Pen y Rhyd provides ideal holiday accommodation in a lovely location. Abercych is an excellent centre for enjoying all that Pembrokeshire has to offer: it is close to lovely beaches, fast flowing rivers and dramatic mountains. Locally are a host of wonderful walks, Cilgerran Gorge and Castle, Cenarth waterfalls, the Welsh Wildlife Centre, canoeing trips down the Teifi, riding stables, and fishing. Within 10 miles are various fine sandy and quiet beaches, golf courses, the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Preseli Mountains. Within 30 miles are Oakwood Leisure Park (with many famous rides) the fabulous new Blue Lagoon Leisure Park, Dinosaur World, Folly Farm and more. You can enjoy watching the Dolphins at nearby Mwnt Beach or take boat trips to the wonderful Pembrokeshire islands. There is a local pub in the village (The Penrhiw) and a renowned pub/restaurant (The Nag's Head). Pen y Rhyd is situated in the centre of this very quiet village on a lane leading to a a footpath to Cenarth with its famous waterfalls and a ford over the Cych just below where it flows into the magnificent River Teifi, famed for its salmon, sewin and Coracle fishing.

Sleeping 6 in very spacious and comfortable accommodation, Pen y Rhyd is a lovely bungalow with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is one double bedroom with an en suite shower room and two twin bedded rooms. There is a separate bathroom and second shower-room, a comfortable lounge, a large well-equipped kitchen, a utility room and a dining room with French windows leading to the patio and picnic table.

Equipment includes washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, LCD TV with Sky Freeview, VHS and DVD player and a large fridge freezer. There is WiFi Internet connection. Outside there are lawns and mature trees to front, rear and both sides. There is a large paved parking area for up to three cars.

The rental charge includes all gas and electricity. Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. The comfort and pleasure of our guests is our highest priority. Pen y Rhyd is a no-smoking property. Letting is for a maximum of 6 persons. 2 pets are allowed, but there is a charge of £10 each, and pets must not be allowed on soft furnishings, must remain in the hard floored areas (kitchen and dining room) and must not be left unsupervised in the property at any time. Visitors are fully liable for any damage or extra cleaning costs caused by their pets. The garden is not enclosed.

Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please add £10 per pet per week if bringing pets.
