Confidence is a pretty grade II listed cottage (sleeping 4) in a superb location WITH STUNNING SEA VIEWS in New Quay. A former Sea Captain’s cottage, named after one of the ships which were built in this historic village around the 1840s, it has extensive views of Cardigan Bay. This cosy and comfortable cottage retains its period character and is situated in a quiet no-through road near the harbour and centre of this bustling fishing village. New Quay offers sandy beaches, shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Dolphins can regularly been seen in the bay and boat trips are available which show you the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

To the north and south are other villages, safe sandy beaches and the rocky headlands of the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. Further afield there are many interesting places to visit including the University town and seaside resort of Aberystwyth, with its castle, museums, Arts Centre, pubs, restaurants, funicular railway and Camera Obscura. To the south is the Teifi Valley famous for its coracles and the Preseli Hills and Pembrokeshire are within easy reach by car.

Confidence sleeps four people in three first floor bedrooms, one double and a single overlooking the sea and a second adult single overlooking the garden. Also on this floor, the bathroom has a wash hand basin, bath and wc. On the ground floor, the comfortable lounge has sea views, several pieces of antique furniture and ornaments and a TV and video recorder. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, radio and many other items to make your stay comfortable. The dining area has seating for up to six and a traditional Welsh dresser.

Outside, steps lead to an enclosed secluded rear garden which has a small patio area with garden furniture, an umbrella and a barbeque. Bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. A high chair, safety gate and travel cot can be provided on request. Electricity is included in the price. Confidence cannot accommodate pets and is non-smoking. Parking is on the street outside the house. A complimentary bottle of wine and flowers will be waiting to welcome you on your arrival at Confidence.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please pay the deposit within 7 days.
