Castle Hall, Llangrannog, a former Sea Captain's Cottage is only 500 YARDS FROM THE BLUE FLAG BEACH AND CEREDIGION COASTAL PATH. There is a strict no smoking policy in the cottage. It has 1 bedroom, a shower room and open-plan kitchen/living room. There is a logburner stove and three economy 7 storage heaters plus a small convector heater.

The cottage sleeps 2 adults (sorry no children) in one double bedroom. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels, bath mat and tea towels. Freesat 32" digital TV and DVD player, cooker, microwave oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, iron, toaster and washing machine is provided. A bench for sitting is outside, there is some roadside parking and a free public car park nearby.

Llangrannog has 2 very good historical pubs: The Pentre Inn which overlooks the picturesque beach and the Ship Inn, which has wireless internet connection. Both have good food menus.

The Beach Hut Cafe has a fish and chip shop attached. The Patio Cafe sells home made ice cream in 25 flavours, both beach front with lovely views.

Castle Hall is an especially good location for natural history lovers, walkers and cyclists. The Cardi Bach bus service operates between the last Saturday in June and the last Sunday in September and can transport 2 bikes. (Richards Bros: 01239 613756). Dolphins can often be spotted from the beach or cliff tops. Golf, dry ski slope, sailing and horse riding are all available locally. A beach bonfire and firework display is held in November. There is a general store in the village and a large supermarket at Brynhoffnant.

Newquay, Cardigan, Aberaeron, Aberystwyth and Tenby, Pembrokeshire are all within reach of this idyllic typically Welsh beach side village.
