Hawen, situated a quarter of a mile from Aberporth, is a fully modernised single storey cottage sleeping 7/8, overlooking Aberporth with a magnificent sea view of Cardigan Bay.
Aberporth, is a tranquil seaside village with two lovely beaches sheltered between prominent headlands offering golden sands, little coves, rock pools, and a shallow stream. Cafes, pubs and restaurants provide meals. The local amenities include a grocer, Chemist, Hardware Shop Post Office and a popular Chinese Takeaway. A short drive to the Market town of Cardigan gives greater access to Supermarkets and a modern cinema/theatre complex. Exhilarating cliff top walks afford wonderful views – as far as Aberystwyth and the Lleyn Peninsula on a clear day – and possible sightings of dolphins and seals out in the bay. Public footpaths lead along the coast, easterly to Tresaith and Penbryn beaches and westerly towards Cardigan you will find Mwnt which is a delightful cove.
Hawen has been extensively renovated to a high standard. The cottage is light and Airy with an open plan high ceiling living area with a 40” flat screen television and DVD. There are two fully tiled bathrooms. One Bathroom is equipped with a spa bath, wash basin and toilet. The other is equipped with an enclosed shower, washbasin and toilet. Hawen sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. All of the beds have memory foam topped mattresses offering a comfortable nights rest. The master bedroom, with sea views, has a king size bed. Two of the other bedrooms can be configured as twin or king and superking, as we have zip and link beds so they will be set up as requested. The fourth bedroom has a single bed with a pull out for an eighth person if required. A child’s high chair and a full size cot is available. There is a large conservatory with a dining table to seat eight. The kitchen is well equipped and has a modern double oven, dishwasher, electric halogen hob, American style fridge/freezer complete with an icemaker and water dispenser, microwave, cordless kettle and toaster, together with all crockery, cutlery and utensils. A washing machine is provided in an alcove in the entrance hall together with the central heating boiler. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided.
All bed linen is supplied except for the cot. Towels are provided but not beach towels.
The large garden is fully enclosed and laid to lawn with sea views and outdoor furniture including a barbeque.
Ample off road parking for three cars is available next to the cottage. All bed linen is provided. The cottage has oil central heating that includes a combi boiler that provides constant hot water.

If booking Hawen, please enclose a good housekeeping bond of £100 if you are bringing dogs with you.
