The Golden Grove is within walking distance of the pretty village and harbour of Solva and the famous Pembrokeshire coastal path. Originally a bake house and shop, the cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard with character beamed ceilings and original stone walls. It is within easy driving distance of the lovely sandy beaches of St Brides Bay in Pembrokeshire. Nearby, the long sandy beach of Newgale is one of the most popular for surfers in the area. Only three miles away is the tiny city of St Davids with its famous cathedral, interesting shops and variety of places to eat.

Accommodation
The Golden Grove sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. The stairs from the open plan living area lead to a half landing and the first twin bedroom. On the first floor is the second twin bedroom and the master with king size bed. Also on this floor is the bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet. These rooms all look out over the river and the woods beyond.

The ground floor is open plan providing comfortable accommodation. The lounge area is cosy and has two reclining chairs and one comfortable settee, books, maps and information, a coal effect gas fire, a night storage heater and a TV.

In the dining area is the table which seats six people and has views towards the river and bluebell wood beyond. The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric hob, oven, microwave, toaster and steamer, an under counter fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine.

There is a light and airy conservatory adjoining the kitchen with bistro style table and chairs and double doors leading to the back yard.

Outside
In the yard are the remains of an old bake house and also an extra wc. Steep steps lead to the three garden terraces from this area, the terraces have electric lighting are private, sheltered and sunny and look out over the river and the wood. The first terrace has a rotary drying line and a garden shed for storing the garden chairs and your BBQ equipment. The second terrace has a table and chairs and from here a secret garden.

There is off road parking for two vehicles. The cottage has a front and side entrances with an enclosed area for your cycling and beach gear.
