Glens Reach is a luxuriously furnished house in the historic village of Laugharne. It is ideally situated in a quiet location yet within easy walking distance of Laugharne’s famous restaurants, pubs, cafes and Castle. There are craft shops and galleries, a pottery and glass works. St Martins Wood with its walks and stunning views of the Taf Estuary is on the doorstep.

Laugharne is a historic coastal town, nestling on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire whose spectacular beaches begin just 4 miles away at Pendine Sands. Laugharne was home to Dylan Thomas, poet and author, his boathouse in Laugharne is now a national heritage site. It is 4 miles from St Clears and 14 miles from Carmarthen.

Glens Reach has a large comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, large wide screen TV, DVD/CD player with MP3 connectivity, SKY + and surround sound. The sunny conservatory is just the place to relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, double oven, hob, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, plus all the usual kitchen accessories. There is a breakfast bar for informal meals or for entertaining there is a more formal dining area seating 8 which has a mini hi-fi system and speakers.

The first floor has three double bedrooms with stacks of storage space, two with double beds and one twin bedded. The large family bathroom has a bath, separate power shower cubicle, washbasin, and toilet. The front of the property has a garden with a paved patio area, to the rear is a small walled garden. Glens Reach has off street parking.

There are plenty of places to eat out that will suit all ages and budgets, or if you prefer there are plenty if options to take away and eat in with Indian, Cantonese and Traditional Fish and Chips all close by. For eating in with a difference check out Eynons in St Clears with its range of hand prepared gourmet meals to go!

Glens Reach is the perfect spot for people wanting a wide variety of choice and options from a holiday. There are beaches, cycling, canoeing, walks, bird watching, a chocolate farm, the National Botanical Gardens and Castles galore all within easy reach. It is a no smoking property.

Up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed - £15 per dog to cover additional cleaning costs.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking and please add £15 per pet per week; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. The balance payment must include an additional £200 as a damages deposit, refundable subject to the property being left clean and in good condition. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
