Glan Y Mor is a semi-detached house situated just 200 yards away from the QUIET SANDY BEACH in the picturesque village of Llansteffan. The beach, which is overlooked by the ruin of the 13th century castle on the wooded hill above, never gets crowded even in the height of summer. There is café on the beach front and a post office / village stores, fish and chip shop, pubs and restaurant in the village itself. With the beach, the castle, the local amenities and the spectacular views across the estuary there is little need to stray far on your holiday. If you need larger shops, Carmarthen is only 9 miles away and also within easy reach are many other attractions: castles, steam railways, Oakwood theme park, the National Botanic garden of Wales, The Dylan Thomas Boathouse at Laugharne, Pembrey Country Park and the beautiful coasts of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

Glan Y Mor sleeps 6 in three bedrooms on the first floor; two double bedrooms (one with king size bed) and one twin room. Also on this floor is the family bathroom with a bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin. Downstairs is a large comfortable lounge with digital TV with DVD. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The separate dining room has access to the patio and garden through French doors.

Outside the garden has a small lawn to the front and a larger lawn to the rear with a patio and garden furniture. The quiet service road in front has parking for a maximum of two cars. Glan Y Mor is centrally heated and all fuel and bed linen is included. Guests are asked to bring their own towels and tea towels. Pets cannot be accommodated and no smoking is permitted in the property.

Llansteffan is one of Carmarthenshire’s best kept secrets and the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday.
Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A £100 per week non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please send a separate cheque for £100 with the balance as a refundable deposit which will be returned in full subject to the house being left in good condition. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
