Set in its own paddock, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE BEACH, Garth is a comfortable family house within The Pembrokeshire National Park. The house is bright, light, well equipped and has fabulous panoramic views across the fields to Newport Bay and Dinas Head. Two small beaches are within walking distance: Cwm Yr Eglwys, a sandy beach with rock pools and sailing, overlooked by a ruined church; and Pwllgwaelod with the Sailors’ Safety Inn and views across Fishguard Bay. Dinas Cross, a small village 10 minutes’ walk away, has a shop and bakery, two pubs, garage and fish and chip shop.

The town of Newport, just 3 miles away, has shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Outside the town is a large sandy beach with a spectacular links golf course.

Fishguard with shops, a railway station and ferry link to Ireland is also only 3 miles away. The Gwaun Valley, the Pembrokeshire coastal path and the Preseli hills all provide wonderful walking and of course Pembrokeshire has numerous family attractions:Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, boat trips and watersports are all available nearby.

Garth sleeps up to 9 in three first floor bedrooms and one ground floor bedroom.

On the first floor are Bedroom 1 with a double bed, TV, ensuite shower, basin and WC, Bedroom 2, a single bedroom with a large bed, Bedroom 3, a twin room with two single beds and a bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Please note there are some sloping ceilings in these rooms. This means there is no room for a wardrobe in the bedrooms but there is hanging space in cupboards in downstairs rooms. All upstairs bedrooms have a sea view.

On the ground floor is Bedroom 4, a twin bedroom with two single beds and two full size bunk beds. Next to this is a bathroom with a bath, separate shower, basin and WC. A further shower room on the ground floor has a shower, basin and WC.

There are two living rooms both with beautiful views of the sea: one room has an open fire with comfortable seating and a TV; the other larger family room is at one end of the open plan kitchen/dining/living room and has seating for at least 10 with a TV, DVD and an electric coal effect fire. At the other end of the room is a dining table seating 10 and the kitchen with a ceramic hob, double oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.

There is a separate utility room with washing machine, dryer, sink and microwave.

At the front of the house there is a small enclosed garden. At the rear of the house, overlooking the paddock with views to the sea beyond, is a terrace with tables and chairs.

Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels. Electricity and gas for the central heating are included but not fuel for the open fire. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome but dogs are not permitted upstairs or on any furniture. Garth is a No Smoking property. There is offroad parking for 4 cars. A damages deposit of £100 is required per booking, refundable subject to the property being left in good condition.

This is a wonderful house for family holidays in a perfect location.
