Fern Cottage is a luxuriously renovated converted barn within the Pembrokeshire National Park, sleeping four, which is only 8 minutes’ walk from the beautiful Havens beaches having sea views of St. Brides Bay.

The site lies above the picturesque fishing village of Little Haven and consists of 10 holiday homes which were converted in 1982 from a working farm, Fern Cottage benefits from continuous updating and refurbishment and has been improved this year by installation of replacement double-glazed sash windows, demonstrating the owner's committment to improving standards of comfort and safety for guests year round.'

The bay is an 8 minute walk away over the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, with Fern Cottage sitting conveniently close to the path for walks along the beautifully rugged coastline whilst enjoying the abundance of local wildlife.

Within the tiny village of Little Haven are three welcoming pubs, the post office/tea room, a pottery/craft shop/workshop and the gallery which displays and sell local artists’ work.

Little Haven also boasts a boat launch as sailing plays an important part in village life.

Nearby are the spectacular Blue Flag beaches of Broadhaven and Newgale, which enjoy water sports centres, whilst Marloes and Barafundle Bay are also within a short distance by car and have been voted amongst the best beaches in Britain. In fact there are more Blue Flag beaches in this small area of the Pembrokeshire Coastline than anywhere else in the UK.

Boat trips are also available from Martins Haven which tour the bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm where you can see sheerwaters and puffins in their natural habitat. Alternatively as long as you are over four... why not try pony trekking at nearby Nolton Stables?

Fern Cottage is perfect for families and couples alike having no passing traffic to spoil the peaceful retreat. It fits the bill for all sorts of holiday-makers, perfect for walkers, beach lovers, and those wanting romantic breaks.

The cottage comprises an open plan ground floor layout leading to a conservatory and enclosed rear garden with seating and barbeque area which has views of St Brides Bay. The kitchen area has fully fitted cupboards, ceramic hob, combination microwave, washing machine, integrated fridge/freezer and a springflow water tap which provides filtered water on demand. The large breakfast bar accommodates seating for four adults. The lounge area with recently upgraded slate tile flooring has comfortable three and two seater leather sofas, 40 inch flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and CD/radio. The conservatory has a marble dining table which seats four and a combination television/dvd player. The stairs, landing and bedrooms are carpeted. Both bedrooms are very comfortable, bedroom one having a double bed and fitted wardrobe with drawers and bedroom two has a full size bunk bed and fitted wardrobes/drawers. The newly refurbished bathroom comprises a bath with electric shower over, pedestal wash hand basin and low level toilet. The cottage has been freshly decorated in 2012.

Heating is via electric wall heaters throughout and log stove effect fire in the lounge area. Secondary oil filled radiators are also provided in the unlikely event that they are required. Hot water is supplied via immersion heater. Fern Cottage has one parking space at the front of the property. However, should it be required, further parking is available in the overflow parking area on site. All bedding is included but guests are asked to bring their own bath and beach towels. Electricity is included. One well-behaved pet is welcome at an additional price of £15 per week.
